Poppy’s Pupcakes
Today is our little fur baby’s birthday, so of course, I had to make her a cake! (or pupcakes)

Poppy's Pupcakes
Equipment
- Cupcake/muffin mould or tray
- Scales
- Bowl
- Oven
- cupcake cases if not using moulds
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 70 g peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 30 g honey
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 50 g wholemeal flour
- 40 g oats
- 60 ml water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180c.
- Mash the banana with the peanut butter, then whisk in the egg and honey.
- Stir in the baking powder, then the oats and flour to make a thick dough. Stir in the water to make a batter.
- Spoon into 6 cupcake/muffin moulds or cases in a cupcake/muffin tray, then bake for 15 - 20 mins. Leave to cool a little in the tray then remove to cool fully.
- I decorated some of these simply with a dollop of Greek yogurt, then fashioned a paw out of blueberries and dog treats.

Nutritional Benefits:
Dogs also benefit from the fruit just as much as humans. This recipe also contains protein and healthy fats from the peanut butter. The fat adds vitamin E (essential for cell function, healthy immune system, skin and coat).
