Although we offer affordable food via our Eco Market, we are not a food bank, but do work in partnership with local organisations, who are best placed to offer food and crisis support.

For Trussell Trust linked food banks such as The Well, you will need a referral from an organisation such as social workers, family/children’s centres, doctors, health visitors, school staff, housing officers, and organisations like Citizens Advice. Alternatively, you can contact Durham County Council’s Welfare Assistance scheme on 03000 267 900.

WHCC is an independent foodbank who can accept referrals or take some details to identify the support you need.
